In this rewarding role, you will support the People Advisor in delivering People services and ensuring the effective implementation of HR processes across HRUC. The role will involve providing first-line HR support, assisting with employee relations, recruitment processes, and contributing to the development of a positive working environment. Responsibilities include:
- Providing administrative support for HR processes, including maintaining employee records, changes to employment terms and processing payroll changes
- Acting as a first point of contact for employee queries, providing guidance on policies and procedures and escalating issues as required
- Assisting the People Advisor with employee relations matters, including disciplinary and grievance processes, ensuring adherence to HRUC policies.
- Maintain high quality staff records, ensuring data accuracy and legislative compliance
We are seeking to appoint a well organised individual who can demonstrate the following:
- At least 1 year of experience in an HR administrative or support role
- Awareness of HR policies and legislation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and preferably some experience with HR Information Systems
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships across the College group
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
