Course Team Leader - Beauty Therapy - Uxbridge College
I have been working at Uxbridge college since 2019, after 12 years working in the Beauty Therapy industry.
My first role was covering the Hair & beauty Reception, before moving over to the Beauty team as a Lecturer in 2020.
I studied for my level 2 & 3 Beauty Therapy qualification at Uxbridge College, so it was nice to come back and work with those who had taught me.
The beauty industry is ever growing and is in huge demand, with so many opportunities. I am passionate about staying up to date and delivering current treatments in the sector, that the College supports.
The College invests in courses by providing up to date equipment and materials, to allow me to deliver to industry standards and prepare students for work.
The College has also given me the opportunity to gain further qualifications and attend relevant training, to help me to progress my career and develop my skills further. The environment is fun, supportive and challenging with opportunities to keep me driven.
I enjoy my job, and the best part is seeing my students find their own jobs in the beauty industry.
