            <p id="isPasted">HRUC (Harrow, Richmond and Uxbridge Colleges) is a successful merged college group, based across 5 vibrant campuses. &nbsp; We offer high quality courses, apprenticeships and programmes for young people. &nbsp;We are excited to have launched the People and Organisational Development team in January 2025, which has enabled us to renew and continue our journey to be an Employer of Choice. &nbsp; We are focused on enhancing our employees&rsquo; experience, maintaining our compliance commitments, and enabling the goals of HRUC. &nbsp;If you want to join us and be part of our next chapter, we would welcome an application from you. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>Reporting to the People Policy and Organisational Compliance Manager you will support the development, implementation and reviewing of People policies that ensure compliance with legislative requirements and best practices. You will also assist in compliance audits, and providing guidance on policy-related matters to staff across HRUC. It would be helpful for the successful post holder to have experience in both HR operations and HR Policy development.</p><p>Key responsibilities include:</p><ul><li>Assisting&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;drafting,&nbsp;updating,&nbsp;and&nbsp;reviewing&nbsp;of&nbsp;People&nbsp;policies,&nbsp;ensuring&nbsp;they&nbsp;are&nbsp;in&nbsp;line&nbsp;with&nbsp;legal&nbsp;and&nbsp;regulatory standards and HR Operations.</li><li>Working with the People Policy and Organisational Compliance Manager to ensure People policies comply with relevant legislation, such as GDPR, equality laws, and safeguarding requirements&nbsp;</li><li>Implementing internal compliance audits and provide recommendations for improving compliance frameworks&nbsp;</li><li>Assisting in delivering training sessions to staff on new policies, compliance requirements, and complaints handling procedures&nbsp;</li><li>Generating&nbsp;reports&nbsp;and&nbsp;data&nbsp;insights&nbsp;to&nbsp;inform&nbsp;improvements&nbsp;in&nbsp;People&nbsp;policies&nbsp;and&nbsp;processes</li></ul><p>We are seeking to appoint a highly organised and motivated individual who can demonstrate the following:</p><ul><li>At&nbsp;least&nbsp;2&nbsp;years&rsquo;&nbsp;experience&nbsp;in&nbsp;a&nbsp;policy,&nbsp;compliance, and/or a HR related operational role</li><li>Strong&nbsp;knowledge&nbsp;of&nbsp;People&nbsp;legislation,&nbsp;including&nbsp;GDPR,&nbsp;equality&nbsp;laws,&nbsp;and&nbsp;safeguarding</li><li>Proven&nbsp;ability&nbsp;to&nbsp;draft,&nbsp;review,&nbsp;and&nbsp;update&nbsp;policies</li><li>Ability&nbsp;to&nbsp;understand&nbsp;and&nbsp;implement&nbsp;regulations, policies&nbsp;and&nbsp;guidance</li><li>Excellent organisational and time management skills, and ability to prioritise a complex workload effectively</li></ul>
