            <p id="isPasted">We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer to deliver Functional Skills in Maths, English and ICT up to Level 2 to Apprentices across a range of frameworks. &nbsp;The role will include ensuring learners are supported effectively throughout the programme with their Functional Skills, contributing to progress reviews and setting learners&rsquo; targets. &nbsp;The role will be based at Hayes Campus, with the requirement to travel to other campuses as required.</p><p>&nbsp;You should be qualified to a minimum of Level 3, preferably degree level, and should have experience of delivering Maths, English and ICT Functional Skills successfully. &nbsp; You should have the ability to motivate and engage groups of Apprentices aged 16 +. &nbsp;A teaching qualification recognised by the Further Education sector will be an advantage. &nbsp; This post will be based at Hayes Campus, with the requirement to travel to other College sites when required.</p><p>Please note, we are unable to provide sponsorship for this role. &nbsp;</p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Notice for Recruitment Agencies:</strong></p><p>HRUC operates with a managed service provider (MSP) for recruitment services.             <p id="isPasted">We are expanding our provision of Electrical Installaion, Plumbing and Building Services at Uxbridge College, with new facilities scheduled to open in September 2026, which will offer industry-standard workshops and classrooms. &nbsp;As part of our continued growth, we are seeking passionate and skilled professionals to join our team and help shape the next generation of tradespeople.&nbsp;</p><p>You will be qualified to Level 3 in Electrical Installation, with experience gained within the industry, and some teaching / training experience. You will be joining a friendly and supportive team, and with many training and development opportunities and scope for promotion within the College, you will be embarking on a varied and rewarding career. We will support you to develop your career in teaching, including fully funding the teacher training qualification.</p><p>We offer 43 days annual leave plus bank holidays and college closure period.</p><p>We may offer sponsorship for this role.</p><p>The UK Government have a scheme in place which enables eligible Further Education teachers within their first 5 years of teaching in Further Education to claim up to &pound;6,000 directly from the Government.
